Chuck E. Cheese for sure, a movie is hard for a kid to sit through. Chuck E. Cheese, is not only fun, but it'll burn off so much energy, he'll go to bed at a good time and probably sleep longer!

I took my 4 year old to see Monsters vs Aliens and it was so painful to watch. It was horrible.

You have to watch your 5 year old son? He is your SON, you are not babysitting jackass.
Have to agree, it's not babysitting when it's your child... The problem with Chuck E. Cheese and a movie is that you and your son won't be interacting very much. Why not just hang out and play games with him? Talk to him and play with him...

First off, if you go into this with the attitude of "HAVE to watch him" he may pick up on this and neither one of you will have fun.



Secondly, monsters %26amp; aliens is not a good idea, although he may enjoy it, it can subconsciously scare him and give him nightmares.



Thirdly, IMO ChuckECheese is disgusting. I was so utterly grossed out the last time I went. With sicknesses going around, I wouldn't want to expose my child to all that...



I would try and think of something that may give you a little more 1 on 1 quality time... a sport in the park, a walk in the park, scavenger hunt, a craft... etc.
i would take him to chuckecheese cause he will get sleepy and ready for bed when he comes home
I would say ChuckEcheese its more one on one. You can play games with your son as oppose to the movies where you can't talk or play with him. What ever you decide Im sure you and you son will have fun just being together. Its nice to see a dad taking the time to spend with his son (and I mean good quality time). Keep up the good work.
chuck-e-cheese is probably your best bet! he can get to run around and play! and what 5year old doesnt love to do that?? and rude person above me.. YOU DONT KNOW HIS SITUATION so you wasted your time answering..!
