You should really avoid contact and see a doctor even coming in contact. I work at the hospital as a radiological technologist and was exposed, and found out the next day at work and had to immediately begin taking tamiflu and wasnt allowed at work for 2 days. so your best bet would see your doctor and ask him what he believes you should do. Remember just because you dont not feel sick doesnt mean your not caring the virus it could be dormant so if you do go to school keep very clean wash your hands throughly and often do not share anything and if you feel like your going to cough cover your mouth in your elbow or ask your school nurse for a mask.I have been exposed to swine flu please help?
If you are getting it, you might notice that your ear has some irritation, leading into your throat. You'll develop a deep dry cough, usually with pain in the chest and stomach. Headaches and fatigue are further evidence.

Your feet will get really cold - sometimes other extremities. If they turn blue, get to the hospital. If you feel that you can not breath - get to the hospital.

If the symptoms begin, get to the doctor. You will have to wear a mask before going into the office. You will get an antibiotic, a puffer and if your cough is really bad, a prescription cough syrup. You are infectious as long as you have symptoms, so make sure you keep extra masks around and use hand sanitizer. Keep your towel separate from others in your home. Do not go outside, you will just spread the disease - stay in bed!

Drink tea with lemon or ginger and honey to sooth your throat. Both work well.

Sometimes, you will feel that you are getting better, then bang, you're sick again. I personally, ended up with a chest infection after that. From what I've heard others have had the same when they were recovering. Anyway, there are various degrees of severity. Some experience mild symptoms, others get it really bad. Good luck, hope you don't get it. It's your cousin I'm really worried about. Young children are the most vulnerable with this disease.
relax you probably going to get it and so is your boyfriend but your not gonna die from it ... unless you have aids or something that weakens your immune system... the kid could die from it cause hes little ... no worries ...best be safe and get something to prevent it... what you need to do is find an old gypsy woman who will trade goods with you... bring a jar of canned hams and trade it for a vile of unicorns blood ... take that vile and mix it with 3/4 cup of vinegar and a tablespoon of NyQuil ... microwave on high for 2 1/2 to 3 min...rotate... then microwave for an additional 30 sec to 1 min... then let stand for 2 min... stir ...then take the mixture and rub it on your belly once every 3 hours for 7 days... then call your doctor if symptoms persist...I have been exposed to swine flu please help?
Just keep your hands washed, and keep your hands away from your face , like eyes and nose.

Just keep your hands clean and don't shake hands with anyone if you can help it.

Do use those wipes for shopping carts all over the handle of the basket and wash again when you get home.

If your cousin didn't have a fever when you were with him, you probably won't get it. After the fever is gone it takes another 48 hours to be safe.
If your cousin was feeling ok when you were at Chuck E. Cheese then he probably hadn't obtained the flu yet. However, it does take a few days for symptoms to show up.
