If your mother still declines to let you go -- please talk with her rationally. Ask her about her concerns. She may have a VERY valid reason for being worried. Trust your mother and keep up your very good work.

Also -- when you DO go to a party -- always keep a cell phone with you and turned on. That way your Mom can communicate with you when she is worried and that will be a tremendous help. It is also there if you run into ANY problems.

Believe me -- you'll be invited to many many more sleepovers. Be patient!!

BTW -- My Dad wouldn't allow me to sleepovers either. He would let me stay for the evening, however, he'd pick me up around 9:30-10:30 and take me home. It was embarassing -- but I know he had my best interest at heart. I love him so much now for doing that!!! I think some of my friends were even jealous that they didn't have a dad who cared for them like that.

i'm not a parent, and if you want to talk to parents this is probably the wrong section, buuut...that is ridiculous.

ask your friend to have her parents call your mom. (: easy. your mom doesn;t have to put in any effort.

donmt do anything stupid and behave say there will be parents around and you will be goodHow to convince my mom to me me spend the night at a party? parents please?
Have your friends mom call your mom. She would be the better way to have convincing. Unfortunately if she still says no, then there's nothing that you can do. Not everything in life is fair. I am hoping she lets you go to Chuckie Cheese anyway.
wow. she will not even meet the parents? im not sure. i feel bad for you. you should be able to go if she meets them or talks to them and decides its fine. I would try asking her if you could have your friends parents call and talk to her because you'd really like to go. hope it works out for you. take care!
