What should I do with my diamond engagement ring?

I have an engagement ring from my previous marriage. I have tried selling it to local jewelers and on ebay. The center stone is a little over a half a carat. There are 8 baguettes (4 on each side.)

What can I do with the ring? I am certainly not going to wear it anymore and my ex doesn't want it back.What should I do with my diamond engagement ring?have it redesigned and then you can wear it as like a divorce gift to yourself. I would get it in writing from him that he doesn't want it before you sell it because you usually give the ring back when the marriage ends and a court usually sees it that way. So if he ever tries to get it back you need proof that he didn't want in the first place. I kept mine... it has a 1/2 carat center stone and two 1/4 carat stones on either side... I will give the center diamond to my son when he decides on the right girl, and the 2 other stones, i plan to have earrings made of them and give them to my daughter on her wedding day. Well take it to a pawn shop and get some money for it...then do the right thing and mail him the money. Telling him you didn't want the ring but I pawned it and here is the money. My conscience is clear now. move on.
