I think the most serious threat to the earth and thus the environment is overpopulation. This is depleting resources and adding pollution more rapidly year by year. Soon we may all have to stand up because there won't be room to lie down. Why can't a lot of people see this threat? Some lakes have literally disappeared, like the one in Chile, South America. The icebergs are melting down. Serious draughts. We should be aware of this problem.
