What's an environmental problem in Bryce Canyon National Park?

One of the obvious environmental issues is air quality. Following is a quote from the National Environmental Trust web site:

Haze %26amp; Smog in Bryce Canyon

Utilities downwind from Bryce Canyon and other U.S. National Parks, release millions of tons of air pollution annually contributing to visibility reductions in some National Parks of up to 80 percent from natural levels. Electric power plants are the principal source of the pollution that shrouds the mountains, canyons and seashores in smog. Emissions of sulfur and nitrogen oxide emissions from the plants are also responsible for acid rain, fine particulate matter soot, and ozone smog.
