What happens when there are problems with the enzymes that control the cell cycle?

1) What happens when there are problems with the enzymes that control the cell cycle?

2)Name three environmental factors that can damage the gene that produce those enzymes.

3)What can resulr from an abnormal cell cycle?

THANKSWhat happens when there are problems with the enzymes that control the cell cycle?1)the cells metabolism will become potentially non functional- think of when cyanide inhibits respritory enzymes--- death.

2)

Ionising radiation

UV light

Mutagenic chemicals

3)new proteins being produced, or a protein could be missingWhat happens when there are problems with the enzymes that control the cell cycle?I'd like to add:

1 - The cell could also go into apoptosis, which is programmed cell death.

3 - If the cell goes into uncontrolled replication, you get cancer.
