because diamond can be renewable because we are not worry about diamonds being over used since every year we make jewelry out of it but it can be a nonrenewable resource because it comes from the earth, and it takes millions of years for the earth to produce it.Is diamond a renewable resource or a nonrenewable resource?Non-renewable. A diamond is pure carbon. It takes very high heat, but it will burn and leave no ash. That is the energy answer.
If I understand your question, it is non-renewable. Regardless of how a diamond is formed, naturally or artificially, it is made of carbon. You are taking material from the earth and using it to make a diamond. You are not putting anything back to be recycled. Is diamond a renewable resource or a nonrenewable resource?
renewable.........
The earth is making them everyday........
**** If you burn a diamond, you have carbon left. Period. It can be reformed into a diamond. Tell me how you can destroy a carbon atom, and I will become the richest man in the world. Throw a diamond into the sun and you have added carbon to it that will be there in a billion years, until it starts fusing carbon..........
..Is diamond a renewable resource or a nonrenewable resource? It would be considered nonrenewable, b/c it is a mineral %26amp; like you said, it takes so long for the earth to form it.Is diamond a renewable resource or a nonrenewable resource?
Non-renewable natural resources are listed as: fossil fuels, oil, coal, copper, diamonds, natural gas, iron ore, minerals, gold, silver, platinum, rocks, and many more. Once non-renewable resources are removed it will take a very, very long time, if ever, to replace them. We certainly will not see it again in our lifetime or that of the next generation.
I wish Randy would explain how the University of Delaware contradicted itself about three times. All I did was copy and paste what they had to say. If you look at the link I provided you will see it is taken verbatim from their website. Is diamond a renewable resource or a nonrenewable resource?Krazekat contridicted him/herself about three times. Coal is what makes diamonds. It does take a long time to make a diamond, but it is a renewable resource. Now if we mine all the diamonds before the earth has time to make more than we will not have any.
