How much less can you sell diamond from the Appraised Value?

I have a diamond ring for sell, Color GH, 1 Carat Diamond on a 14k Gold ring. Clarity is I1 and its very good cut. Its appraised value is 3600, but i want to know how much i can sell it for? how much less can i sell it from the appraised value. Thanks!How much less can you sell diamond from the Appraised Value?about 25% of that appraised amount. it will sell at a retail shop for about 50% of appraised value. and a private party can sell it for even less.



you get the idea the appraised value is meaningless? if retail only sells for 50% of appraised value then why is this the valuation process.
