How can you tell if a diamond ring is real?

my fiance bought me an engagement ring. I doubt he had the money to buy a real diamond but I was still wondering...How can you tell if a diamond ring is real?Why would you want to marry someone that you can't even pose an honest question to? Ask him! Because if you can't ask him THAT, you're going to have some much bigger problems in your marriage.

That glass test isn't true. It can be something other than a diamond for it to work.
